The People Who make it Possible
Hello, it's Dr. Barker again and I would like to take this time that you have devoted to researching our site to introduce you to our very special hand-picked staff members.
We realize there are many other options out there, but it seems time and time again people choose to go with our center because of how we treat them during their consultation and recommend us to friends for how we treat them during the pre and post operation stages. It is our staff that makes everything run smoothly and ensures a positive experience for all parties involved and I would like to give credit where credit is due. First, I would like to personally introduce you to all the senior staff members who keep us all organized, our operations running smooth, and make sure all your questions and concerns are answered to the fullest extent. Below are are the people who make it possible for me to help individuals around the Dallas area improve their lives significantly through this truly phenomenal, life-altering, surgery.
Dana is our office manager (top row, second from the right), and she heads the coordination of patient care and making sure that each and every patient has an excellent experience with our office, staffers, before and after surgery. Dana also completes all of our insurance billing from right here in the office, so if you ever have any questions regarding a claim on file, give her a call.
She is very professional and courteous and is the person you will need to speak with to schedule your Lap Band consultation. If you haven't done so already, go ahead and send her a message, and she will get back with you usually the same day.
Earline is our on-staff resident nurse (top row, first on the right). Full-qualified, she assists with pre-certifications, surgery scheduling, as well as helps me with individualized patient care.
Dale is our Insurance coordinator (first row, first on the left). He is in charge of the pre-determination and qualifying process to help future patients in receiving approval from his or her insurance company. Reading all the fine print can be a daunting task, and Dale is an expert so feel free to ask him to interpret.
He will sit down with you and go over everything required by your particular plan step-by-step to make this process as easy as possible. He will personally submit a packet on your behalf to your insurance carrier so you don't have to.
